2019 Women's World Cup
A couple of days ago I attended the U.S. vs. Sweden Women’s World Cup game. I’ve been to lots of sports events over the course of my life, but I have never attended anything like that. The representation the U.S. had was truly astounding, speaking that we live almost 5,000 miles away. The whole stadium was filled with American fans, and flags. The stadium held about 40,000 people and of those people only about 5,000 of them were Sweden fans. It was a good game, and luckily for us, the U.S. won 2 to 0. Every time a goal was scored, the stadium would erupt with cheering. Game was radical, but the food line was impossibly slow and there barely any transportation options. That’s my only complaint, other than that I would totally recommend going to the next World Cup.
